VENTANA is one of the first venture capital firms in the Southern California region.  Steeped in a long, proud history, we pride ourselves on the strength of our team, investment process, and most importantly, our local and global access to key resources.  The VENTANA team is focused on building value in our portfolio companies, Exiting and finding future attractive investments.

The VENTANA LP's are mostly from global sources.  Besides their desire to have superior financial returns, they believed that helping each other strategically was natural leveraging for both parties.  Each group brought their own know-how and know-who to help strengthen cross border relationships.  Our Portfolio received significant financial benefits.

The experience from launching 5 technological funds with capital from Europe and Asia added significant value to our Portfolio Companies.  During our Annual Meetings we invited all Limited Partners to Southern California to meet and have strategic discussions.  This was a major success every year.  Mr. Gephart's (VENTANA's Founder) network of global connections touches many technology sectors with relationships established in 20 countries over a 25 year period.
